Next, the finest fragrances from the south of France are mixed in so that the scent lasts until the very end of the bar. All of these ingredients are then milled 7 times in the traditional European way for a hard, dense soap that has a luxurious and creamy lather.

The Claus Porto collection jet sets around the world before landing in the laps of the hip and design-savvy. In Grasse, France, they work with an intimate couture fragrance house to formulate the signature scents. Next stop, Porto Portugal, where the Claus Porto soaps are made using turn-of-the-century techniques. To ensure lasting, consistent fragrance and ultra creamy lather, they are finally milled eight times. Each soap is molded and pressed by hand, then aged in an old-fashioned drying room to allow the moisture to escape making a denser and longer-lasting bar. They are individually hand-wrapped and set on their journey to America.
